This project came together one day last winter, thanks to a picture posted on Twitter of a hot guy on a train. One tweet led to another, and all of a sudden we were each writing a story with strangers meeting--and falling for each other--on trains. Each story is set on a different train--mine's on the Napa Valley wine train--and they're all really great.
I'm beyond excited, and it almost doesn't seem real at times. It was such a fun project, though, and talk about a great group of writers -- I hope we get to do more things together in the future. There are still planes, and automobiles. . .
Okay, time to crack open the champagne!
Congrats again, Donna! You are such a great inspiration to me. :)
Oh! Planes...automobiles...how about ships? :) Transportation themes just might be your lucky setting! Just not the Titanic...

Melissa, that's so sweet of you to say! Thank you. :)
I think ships could be fun, because it's that captive audience thing like trains. But you're right -- make sure it's ship-shape before the cruise starts. LOL

I'll have a glass of that bubbly!
I remember nearly catching the wrong train at Innsbruck (Austria) due to a platform mix up. I could have ended up in Siberia instead of the airport at Geneva!
If looking for romance though, I would definitely catch the Orient Express. LOL
Well done Donna.

Q, for you, a whole bottle of the bubbly! Thanks for the congrats. :)
Yikes on ending up in Siberia! And I'm with you on the Orient Express. I've always wanted to take that train. *sigh* Maybe one of these days we'll get there.
The one and only time I was in London, I did pretty well with the trains. One time, though, my friend and I got on a train and instantly realized it was going the wrong direction, so two seconds later, we jumped out the other side and jumped onto the train we really wanted to be on. LOL It looked like we were spies being chased by bad guys!
