Angela Quarles

Wonderful interview, my friends!! And congrats Mae on your release!

Donna Cummings

Angela, thanks for stopping by!

L.J. Kentowski

Great interview Mae & Donna! I'm a huge fan of Mae and Weathering Rock has not disappointed! Can't wait for more :)

Mae Clair

Thanks, Angela. I'm so glad you enjoyed the interviews and I'm excited about Weathering Rock. Many thanks for the well wishes. :)

Mae Clair

L.J., I love hearing you're enjoying the book. There is definitely a sequel (actually two more books) in the works, LOL.

And Donna was wonderful to work with. I had a blast answering her interview questions!

Quantum

Fascinating interview!

I'm not really a paranormal fan. I think the scientist in me can't help questioning the assumptions and premises. For example, ball lightning acting as a portal for time travel seems too incredible. But for the right author I am willing to suspend judgement for an imaginative yarn and an adorable heroine. LOL

If the writer's voice resonates, I can overlook a lot. The forthcoming romantic suspense 'Twelfth Sun' sounds more up my street though. I think I might download a sample of 'Weathering Rock' to see if I like the style. After all, an author who likes 'Lord Midnight' is already halfway to capturing my interest, and this just might be the story to convert me to the paranormal!

I loved your web site Mae! *smile*

Donna Cummings

L.J., I'm a huge fan of Mae too. :) Thanks for stopping by today.

And Mae -- good to see you! LOL You had such great questions when you interviewed me, so I was a little nervous coming up with some for you. It was great fun getting to know more about you and your books.

Donna Cummings

Q, I tend to lean more towards vampires rather than werewolves in the paranormal spectrum. LOL But I like this particular werewolf that Mae has created. :) And she has the most wonderful way with description -- it makes my writerly heart green with envy! *sigh*

Thanks for stopping in today - you know I always love what you have to contribute!

Mae Clair

Hi, Quantum. Thanks for checking out the interview. You can find a sample of WEATHERING ROCK on Amazon to see if you're interested in purchasing the whole book.

Donna's so sweet to say what she does about my descriptions. I have to admit I love playing with words, painting vivid pictures and images. And it's nice to know TWELFTH SUN may appeal to you. I'm very fond of that one too! :)

Renita Pizzitola

Great interview! And I agree, Mae does have a way with words! I love reading her Mythical Monday posts.

Kitt Crescendo

Fun interview! Mae, I love your drive. Congrats on Weathering Rock. I can't wait for Twelfth Sun. I'm really diggin' your book concepts.

Donna Cummings

Renita, I love those Mythical Monday posts too. I've learned so much from them.

Kitt, I'm looking forward to Twelfth Sun as well. She's got me hooked on her ideas. :)

Alicia Coleman

Great Interview, Mae & Donna!

Mae Clair

Thanks, Renita. I'm glad you enjoyed the interview. And I so love doing those Mythical Monday posts. I'm off track a little this month with Weathering Rock and a few other things but I'm looking forward to doing something Halloweenish the end of the month. :)

Mae Clair

Many thanks, Kitt. Drive is definitely something I've found I need in this new venture as an author. WOW! It can be overwhelming but it's a heck of a whirlwind too. So glad you're diggin' my book concepts. All those years of having an over-active imagination is finally amounting to something, LOL.

Mae Clair

Thanks so much, Alicia. You've been so supportive of me and WEATHERING ROCK I can't thank you enough! :)

Mae Clair

Donna, Milady, you are a true gem!! Thanks again for having me on your blog. I had a blast! :)

Donna Cummings

Alicia, thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. :)

Mae, I was so glad to have you here. It was a ton of fun. I can't wait to do it again!

Carrie Crain

Awesome interview, Donna. I can't wait to read Mae's book. I may have to read a book a day to start catching up with my TBR stack. Her new story sounds inticing!
