I get to experience Black Friday a little differently, since I work in retail, meaning I'm on the other side of the cash register. It can get wild and crazy during the holiday season. But it's also fun to see everyone excited about what they're buying, and it's great knowing a present I helped them pick out is going to make somebody's holiday even happier.
So, as one of Santa's honorary elves, I have a few things that might brighten your holiday:
- Summer Lovin', my romantic comedy novella, complete with a hunky chef and a mischievous matchmaking puppy, is FREE on iTunes, Kobo, Smashwords, and Amazon UK (still waiting for Barnes & Noble and Amazon US to catch up!) (Edited to add: Amazon US just made it free! Click HERE.)
- I Do. . .or Die, my upcoming romantic comedy/mystery, is available for pre-order at iTunes and Amazon. Amazon has it for 20% off, and who knows how long that will last? Maybe just until release day, which is December 10th.
- Lastly, I will be giving away a $5 gift card (Amazon, B&N, Kobo, or iTunes) to one lucky commenter, picked at random. Just tell me about your favorite Black Friday bargain, past or present.
Leaving your name and email below also enters you in to the Black Friday Blog Hop grand prize giveaway. Make sure you visit the other blogs participating in the hop, because commenting will increase your chances of winning these and other prizes!
1st Grand Prize: A Kindle Fire or Nook Tablet
2nd Grand Prize: A $75 Amazon or B&N Gift Card
3rd Grand Prize: A Swag Pack that contains paperbacks, ebooks, 50+ bookmarks, cover flats, magnets, pens, coffee cozies, and more!
You can find all the other blogs participating here: http://carrieannbloghops.blogspot.com/
My favorite Black Friday deal was this evening. I purchased $40.00 pillows for just $4.88 at Wally World. I went last year just to experience it and hated it. I went this year for the deal. I am also enjoying all the sales on books! I have purchased quite a few already today and I am sure tomorrow will be worse!
Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Holidays!

My Black Friday bargain was a mini color tv with a dvd player..normally, at the time, $189, I got it for $49. That was an awesome bargain! The downside...it was only offered as a 1 hour doorbuster--6am-7am! ugh... But I wanted so there I was with hundreds of my closest friends! Too funny..
Thanks for the opportunity to share.

I bought my first laptop on Black Friday many years ago. Got the last one in the store. That was probably my best Black Friday deal although I don't remember what I paid for it, just that it was a bargain.
Thanks for the heads-up about I Do...Or Die. I just pre-ordered it from Amazon.

A few years ago I bought an electric race car thing for a cousin's child. It was originally $90 and I paid $8. I don't Black Friday shop anymore. I'm more of a gawkwer now.

I haven't shopped on Black Friday in - oh - forever. I despise crowds. So I do most on line - or really early
Thank you for participating - I'm happiest staying in without a crowd where I can read and look about ..

I have never really experienced black friday before! And currently am too broke to even look at the wonderful deals I am missing out on...But the best deal that I've heard of would be a 50% off most merchandise at the furniture stores here. :)
