Welcome to the Happy Endings Giveaway Hop, hosted by Nat from Reading Romances.
This is my first time participating in one of Nat's hops, although I was recently a guest on her blog. (You may remember my post where I argue that Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a Christmas romance. It is. Go check it out and you'll see what I mean.)
Anyway, this past year has been one big happy ending for me. I sold two books, and one of them, I Do. . . or Die, was released in December by Crimson Romance. It was actually the second book I sold, but the first one published. The first book I sold, Back on Track, will be the second one published.
What can I say? I don't do things in a linear fashion!
To celebrate, I'm offering as a prize one e-copy of Back on Track, which will be released by Samhain as part of the Strangers on a Train series on April 2nd. It involves a hunky baseball pitcher, and a woman determined to get him to pose for her celebrity beefcake calendar, and the Napa wine train. . . Anyway, it's not released yet, so one lucky winner will be able to read it two months before it's published.
To enter, just leave a comment below on what has made you happy this past year. For an additional entry, add Back on Track to your Goodreads Want-To-Read list.
Thanks to everyone for stopping by. This is also my first time using Rafflecopter, so fingers crossed that it all goes as planned!
I loved seeing the Redd Kross concert in San Francisco.

Hi Donna! Thanks for the giveaway. :)
I have so much great stuff in my life, truly, it's hard to choose. But, I think I'll go with having my first two novels published!
Now. Is it April yet? Can't wait to get my hands on this book of yours. :)

I had a pretty tough year health wise so what made me happy was just being able to have some quality time with my daughters

Trix, I love San Fran, so a concert there would definitely be great. :)
Kerry, I'm so glad your mom is recovering. That is a happy relief, for certain. And thanks for stopping by for my giveaway!
Josie, now that's an accomplishment both of you can enjoy -- congrats!

bn100, a vacation would make me happy -- I need to plan one now!
thompsonem3, thanks for stopping by. Kid time is a great way to be happy. :)
Jennifer, summer is my favorite season, and probably because it feels like time slows down for us to enjoy it completely.

Veronica, I'm envious -- I would love to see the Eiffel Tower!
Kaylyn, talk about perfect timing! I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to my Nook. Eeek.
Karla, your two novels make ME very happy! I've just read snippets of the 2nd one so far, but I already love it. And I'm thrilled at the thought of you reading my books. :)

Kathleen, I'm sorry to hear about your health issues. I hope you're doing better now--and I'm glad you have the "girl time" to enjoy. :)

Probably my happiest moment this past year was when I got my final grades last semester... 4.0 at a hard school! Yeah!

My happy moment was going to Dallas this past summer with a bunch of my girlfriends from high school. We try to get together every year and this year it was in Dallas, TX. We had so much fun.

What made me happy this year is that I only gained 2 pounds over the holidays and I have already lost them. I'm terrible with eating during the holidays. We have cookies that we only have that time of the year and I just can't say no. I did however continue to go to the Y to workout so that is what must have helped! ;)

Kimberly, that's awesome! I can't imagine how hard it must be to get a commercial driver's license. :)
Sue, good for you! I'm sure the workout helped. I have a tendency to convince myself I get to eat more *because* I worked out. LOL
