Fallin' in Love + Holiday Bonus Short Story

If you've read Summer Lovin', you've had a chance to meet Mia and Luke, whose romance started thanks to Hellboy, the shoe-devouring puppy.  Summer Lovin' was the very first story I self-published, three years ago this month.

Recently, while I was waiting for an oil change for my car, the characters popped into my head with a Halloween scene. One thought led to another, and the result is Fallin' in Love, which continues Mia and Luke's love story through autumn, one of my favorite seasons.

And, if you've wondered what the holiday season is like for all of them, wonder no more!

Book Birthday Month Continues!

Isn't this the best birthday card ever?! Patricia Preston knows of my love for Loki, and we both have a thing for Thor, so she created this hilarious card for my birthday. I nearly died laughing when I saw it. Hope you enjoy it too.

The Book Birthday festivities continue today too! I'm visiting with Katharine Bone at her Rogues, Rebels & Rakes blog. She invited me and Patricia to talk about our books, both of which released yesterday. Actually, Katharine wasn't there, and Captain Jack Sparrow took over the interview. . . you'll want to see what kind of mayhem we created! You'll also have a chance to win two $5 gift cards, one from Patricia and one from me.

Patricia's new book is called To Save A Lady, and it's set in New Orleans in 1814. I can't wait to read it. I'm a big fan of her humorous Southern fiction short stories, featuring a great character named Darlene.

Oh, and don't forget another good one, from my friend Melissa Johnson. Her latest, Ghost of a Promise, released on Halloween, and it's got a wicked funny ghost hero and lots of suspense! I had to read it all in one sitting.

Happy Book Birthday Month!

Yes, today is the day. Not only is it the official kickoff to my Birthday Month^(TM), but I decided to share this momentous day with Lord Wastrel. His book is finally here.

And, to make sure you had plenty of reading time, I made arrangements for the clocks to be set back one hour. . . What's that? It happens every year at this time? Oh. Well, you've got to agree, the timing couldn't be more perfect!
