I guess this could be called a hybrid series, since the books have always been connected, but I didn't have a series title until just recently.
Plus the first in the series, Back on Track, hasn't been available for several years. I'm sad to say one reason is because I couldn't think of a series title!
Luckily it came to me one day, and now Back on Track is available again with a wonderful new cover, a much better reflection of the hero Matt.
The second in the series, Heartbreaker's Bet, has a brand new cover, too--again, one which looks more how I've envisioned the hero Troy.
I also like having all the book covers in the series with a similar style. It ties them together, along with the Better Than Baseball logo in the corner.
And yes, I did say "all" the books, because there is one more that will be available in the next month or so (if the gods of editing are smiling on me).
It's called Bachelor #3, which refers to a bachelor auction the hero Chance was in, where he had an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction. It also kind of refers to him being the third book in the series, even if I hadn't planned it that way.
I'm excited about this series. I'd started writing Bachelor #3 a long while ago and then had to set it aside to write more Regencies. I came across it on my hard drive recently, while looking for something else. I sat down to read it and I was cackling in the first few minutes. I decided I had to finish this book NOW, and all of a sudden I was writing up a storm, having so much fun hanging out with these characters.
I've got two more contemporaries I'm planning to publish this year, including my first contemporary Christmas romance. Most of you are familiar with my Regency books, and I'm hoping you'll enjoy the same elements in these new contemps -- witty banter, sexy times, and of course a humorously-ever-after.
I'll provide more info when Bachelor #3 is ready to read. Until then, here's the links to Back on Track and Heartbreaker's Bet. Happy reading!
