You never know what will inspire a story. Here's how this one came about:
I spend a lot of time on the phone. A LOT. Sometimes I'm on hold for really long spells—once it was two hours! And I still didn't get to talk to anyone.
Each time I dial the phone, I expect long wait times. I try to do other stuff while hearing how important my call is, over and over and over. This particular day, the perma-hold gods were smiling on me: the customer service rep who answered had such a sexy masculine voice.
I'm not gonna lie. My ears fell madly in lust. They begged me to ask questions I didn't even need answers to, just to keep Mr. Sexy Voice on the phone. (I didn't. I should have.)
All of a sudden I had a new story idea. I was glad to be inspired, but it was obvious I couldn't use The Ghost of Dick-Ex Past or The Twelve Days of Sassmas in the Regency story I was drafting. I told myself I would just jot down some ideas and write this story later, after the Regency was finished.
But a couple days later, while listening to Christmas music, the title Oh Nights Divine popped up in my brain. So did a few other ideas. Who knew Christmas songs would inspire such fun sexy-time scenes?
Now you can find out for yourself! Oh Nights Divine is available and ready for your reading enjoyment!
Keely Monroe wants her sass back.
It went into hiding last Christmas, when her ex dumped her without warning. But her sassy side comes alive when she's on the phone with Travis, a customer service rep with the sexiest-as-hell voice. How could tracking numbers and potential delivery dates inspire such wicked fantasies?
Add in Travis' sexy rumble of a laugh and their flirtatious banter…Keely had never been so happy for a package to go missing.
Now it was the reason she could make some exciting new Christmas memories, all while finally laying to rest the Ghost of Dick-Ex Past.
Travis St. James is a rookie when it comes to dating.
He's too busy working at the family business during the day so he can finance his law school classes at night. But then he meets the delightfully sassy Keely and sees how much fun he's been missing.
